I'm so excited! I was at the Thrift store yesterday and found this book...it was published in 1941, and has some great illustrations in it! It was 3.00...I grabbed it right up! It's funny because everywhere I go now...I see "DUCKS"!

Vicci, I love it. What a great reference for duck art!
Since it was published in 1941 the copyright has expired i believe so you could do transfers of the images. i think so anyways. does anyone else have thoughts on this?

This is so cool - what a great find. I too, am seeing ducks everywhere now. I guess I just wasn't paying attention before.

Happy, happy.

FYI: Copyright normally lasts in literary, dramatic or musical works, for 70 years from the end of the year that the creator dies. Copyright expires on the 31st December of that 70th year - it does not (for example) expire in the middle of the year. However, there are some great books in the library or book store that are published specifically for copyright-free images that you can use in transfers, art etc, and I'm sure they look very similar.
